A - It's a mix of things, really. When I set out to write these books, I wanted to create a new type of poetry. A poetry-prose hybrid that was much less rigid, formal or technical than the traditional model and one that did not bore the buttocks off bright young people.

Poetry for Middle/High age groups

Poetry, prose, whatever way you look at it, this is a good collection for either a school library or a teacher. I can imagine a teacher having middle/high school students memorizing one of the stanzas from this book. I would bet a boy would pick the poem about passing gas! Very good collection of 6 books in one omnibus. I hesitate to recommend this type of genre to public libraries since nonfiction and prose are less checked out, but with proper advertising, this item would be worth having in a collection.
