A dozen process dramas

While these process dramas are specifically written for ages 7-11, I have found they can be used effectively anywhere in the k-8 curriculum. These process dramas are written to be used by teachers with and without experience using process dramas in the classroom. Subjects of these process dramas cover moral issues such as bullying, historical events, science, and English. Many of the process dramas include additional ideas for extending the English components with more in-depth reading and writing assignments.
These lessons are easy to pick up and go, spelling out each step. At the beginning of each lesson is the goals, required items (such as markers), and the amount of time needed for the lesson.
The strength of these lessons is shown in the variety of activities that will engage all your students. I have used these lessons successfully in elementary and middle school curriculum.
I would love to see these authors create a high school version, or a set of process dramas that emphasize dramatic technique like the Charles 1 drama emphasized the importance of vocal work.
