Good Tomcat 7 User Guide

I gave it five stars because it managed to tell me everything I needed to know in 244 pages or less.
I liked how it regularly provided optimal security advice at places where the subject matter was relevant. As an intermediate user I usually found the strategy to be better than mine.
I recommend any server administrator read over the Apache Tomcat 7 User Guide if he or she care about tying down the open design.

Wrong title

This book is really incorrectly titled. It should be titled "How to write Java servlets". This book has about 5 pages about Tomcat, and about 240 pages of how to write web apps. If you want to know how to configure and administer Tomcat, look elsewhere. If you want to write web apps that run on Tomcat, this is your book. It's not a user guide. It's a programming guide. It's not about Tomcat. It's about web apps that happen to run on Tomcat.
