Changed the way our church does evangelism

Shortly after several of the pastors of my church read this book we did our very own 'Treasure Hunt.' There were a good number of participants that were skeptical. They weren't skeptical after the treasure hunt ended and we had seen several people's lives touched by the power and goodness of the Father.

I read this book about a year ago, but picked up another copy at the Bethel Healing School in Valparaiso Indiana at which Kevin was a keynote speaker. Part of the school was a large scale treasure hunt with all 450+ participants of the conference hitting the streets for a couple hours. The results? Awesome. God's goodness came in powerful ways including healings:

1. A man's wrist was healed from a repetitive stress injury that caused him incredible pain. (Witnessed by a family member of mine who was also at the conference).
2. A woman's tongue was healed from a tumor
3. Two teenagers had all the pain in their broken bones taken away
4. A man with a tumor behind his eye healed. He was then given a vision test and found that he could now see better than before he hag gotten the tumor! (This healing was witnessed by a great number of pastors and leaders at the Q&A after the conference).

Kevin carries an equipping anointing for turning people towards a life pursuing God's Treasures. This book teaches you how to listen for and hear God, and how to act on what He speaks. It has changed the way our church does evangelism, and has had a profound impact on me as a person.

A relatively quick read, but well worth your time, THE ULTIMATE TREASURE HUNT is one of the best books I've ever read on evangelism. I can heartily recommend it to anyone who want's to learn to partner with the Holy Spirit to reach those desperate for a touch from the Father.

couldn't put it down!

This book INSPIRED & EQUIPPED me for supernatural ministry. It reassured me that normal people really CAN hear from God regularly and minister to others supernaturally. Our church has started doing regular "treasure hunts" & we bring our kids along! What amazing testimonies come from this simple evangelism technique! It is easy to read, the technique is simple, but the impact is monumental. I would recommend this book to any Christian, especially the ones who are HUNGRY for more! Kevin Dedmon lays out simple guidelines, and backs them all up with scripture. Can't say enough about this book.

Great book about how God wants us to go out into the world and bring the lost into His Kingdom. God wants everyone to be saved. God's treasure is His people. He wants us to hunt down the lost for Him.

Great book, saved this year frustrations of transitioning to common cod standards for my son!!

A great material and in line with California common core standards. A few errors. Wish the book also had concept explanation before diagnosis section. It will eliminate the need to buy a text book. This is first year of formal transition to common core curriculum in our school district and this book helped my son to test his learning in school. I highly recommend this book. I will buy 7th grade next year when available. If you are looking for this book to use in next one month, it might be too much. My son used it over 3 months doing 6-8 pages per day mostly. Wish they also had full course practice tests to be used for final preparation. This book is good if you want to exercise your child's muscles I addition to work being done in school.

Not at all what I Expected. Not really designed for practicing tests. The book is split into separate sections with each section having questions on only one topic. Also the questions were too simple / basic for my daughter. Would not recommend you buy thIs. Look Somewhere else.

Very comprehensive, usually interesting read

As a nonacademic with a strong interest in medical anthropology, this book is exactly what I was looking for, a very broad, thorough overview of the subject, with ample history of the development of medical anthropology. It gave me many new perspectives from which to view disease and health issues. It even briefly covers aspects of New Age approaches to health. Very contemporary and up to date. Since it is written as an academic textbook for undergraduate or graduate courses, the layman will find some sections dragging, but overall very comprehensible and engaging.

Easy , Fast, and Wonderful Bread.

After discovering "artisanbreadwithsteve" on YouTube, I have been making bread two or three times a week. Steve has avery simple process for making the "No-Knead" bread. Over the last 40 years, I have made bread by hand, with a food processor, and with a bread machine. The bread machine is the easiest, but the quality is not as good as the breads I have made using Steve's Turbo technique. Turbo means making the bread in about 3 hours, instead of the 12-18 hours the "traditional" No-Knead Bread takes.I probably only spend 15-20 minutes actually mixing the dough, transfering into a bowl or pan for second proof, transfering into the baking vessel and moving in and out of the oven. The rest of the time is letting the dough proof (rise) and baking. He has made the steps few and easy. His organization and presentation make his videos enjoyable and educational. I highly recommend watching his video on the Turbo Bread method. Then, watch a few of his other videos. Even with some repetition of verbage, I learn something different from each one. If you get the Kindle version of his books, there are links that will take you to the videos!
In the past two months, I have been making pizza dough almost every Thursday, using his book "Pizza Dough, Pizza, and Flatbread". He recently posted a new video updating his pizza technique.
He also updates his books, which is an advantage of self-publishing. I believe that this particular book is the most comprehensive, covering all types of breads, rolls, pizza,and sweet rolls. You can also get his books on more specific breads and also the traditional No-Knead technique. Once you get the hang of it, you can substitute flours or add seeds, grains, or nuts. Being in control of your ingredients is a big plus. If you love bread with a chewy crumb and nice crust, this is the way to go. So far, I prefer using the cast iron dutch oven to bake a round loaf of bread. I use le Creuset 3 1/2 quart French(dutch oven) for the Country white bread and Multigrain breads. Nothing beats the aroma of bread baking in your own oven, in my opinion.

Nothing better than fresh baked bread the No-Knead way!

I used to make homemade bread frequently when my kids were younger and still at home. I have to say this method is such a simple way to have fresh bread in just over 3 hours. I love the Cheddar Cheese bread. I also use Steve's regular no-knead method (proofing 8-24 hours) frequently because it gives me more flexibility and also great results. Just start with Steve's basic no-knead recipe and you can create some wonderful loaves. I'm going to buy some rye flour so I can expand my newfound talent!

Nice job Steve. Your YouTubes got me started using no knead methods. My first try at turbo presented a fabulous loaf. I will be trying a lot of these recipes. Someone who gave a lower score said all recipes are basically alike I disagree but there is of necessity close similarity in the base ingredients.This points out to me the possibilities for experimentation with variations. At 96 pages it is easy to flip thru all of it. I do wish that Amazon Kindle would redesign their interface so that like PDF books you could navigate using a side bar index, sure would make kindle a lot better to use on my MacBook. Hint Hint. Thanks Steve for one of my now favorite and most useful Ebooks.
